i wasn't sure whether to post this here or on the cell talk board, but i thought this is probably the better place.
i have an old nokia 6610I full of pictures of happy i thought i could transfer somewhere else via bluetooth, but just found out that phone doesn't have it. it doesn't have an usb cable or anything to be connected to a computer or any other device, and it looks like that thing could die very soon and take happy's pictures with it. i need a way to copy them anywhere else, i normally wouldn't bother so much but it's happy's pictures and they're really important to me, so help is more appreciated than you'll ever know
Does the phone have a MMC or SD card that you can remove and then copy the pictures onto another device?
nope, it's one of those old small ones. if it had one of those there wouldn't be any problem in getting the pictures out
Surely, if it has a camera, it must have a way to remove the pictures or to send them to other devices. If it has an internet connection, you might try e-mailing them to yourself as attachments.
Send them one by one as picture messages to a different phone number, a different device. If it really has no USB connection {weird?} then doing a MMS is your best option, one MMS per pic to a number that can receive them, a friend who will put them on a card for you.
it has an infrared connection and i have no other device with that connection. i need help transferring the picture and i kept bothering my mother to do it as it's her phone but she just decided to do it now as the phone is living its last days. there's really a lot of pictures and mms cost about 1 euro each and she's not happy about spending that much so i was hoping for another option but can't find any but i'll have those pictures before the phone goes because it's happy's pictures
